Why cant people just get to the point...So a friend told me about local food bank that could help low income families for extended period until u get back on your feet, So I finally get the nerve and think to myself, What u got to lose? I make the trip,go inside,get stared at , apparently cause Im clean,and then proceeded to ask the receptionist, who obviously was having a horriffic day. How i signed up for a food bank voucher.She first blown as if she didnt really give a crap,,, and said sign in , have a seat and Ill call u, when someone can see u, So I bit my tongue,took my seat and waited and waited and waited, finally after 2 hrs my baby was fussy, mama was hot, and everyone who sat remotely around us smelled like stinky onion rings and really needed soap and water.So I politely went to the desk and before I could ask or say anything , she snapped and said I havent called your name and ill let u know when ,, u just cant rush it, it takes time. Well here goes,my blood pressure , I know my face was as red as blood,and my voice trembled,so I looked at her and said , I do believe u are the rudest receptionist ive ever meet, these supplies do not come out of your pockets and I wasnt coming to complain , I was coming to let u know I was gonna step out with my baby for a minute cause he was fussy, You must have a supervision and I will find out who it is and let him/her know how rude u are and how happy u are to have this job, I dont want your handouts, ive survived 3 wks and have 3 more to go and would rather starve then to feel like scum on the bottom of your shoe. So saying , my opinion only , screw the system! Dont know how u can put Gods name in your business sign, cause the devil surely is working in the front office.
