Why cant this people understand that I cant be criticizing the industry for not producing TV shows with fresh approaches and new talent then I go host and produce a show that falls in the same bracket. My credibility is more important to me than being on tv. I have worked hard to build my name and reputation in this business and that is what is going to keep me around for a long time. I know people who appear on tv frequently and some who were on tv but do not really have careers. To have a sustainable career in SAs tv industry you have to be doing something else solid on the side as well so that when tv gigs dry up atleast you know you still have a job. Just as much as you should never quit your day job because you got a gig on tv until you can attract long term contracts, one should never compromise their reputation and credibility just for a tv gig. Thats just my opinion.
