Why did the USSA invade and occupy Iraq? We still dont know the precise reason(s). But according to David Horowitz, every leftist says that the Iraq debacle was all about the oil. True, from 2003 oil prices ramped-up exponentially, while Iraqs oil services contracts were reset in favor of the former United States. But Iraq was about much more than oil. Iraq leveraged one of the five pillars of US power after 911 (military) and made a lot of money for a lot of private and publicly traded corporations on Wall Street. More than that, Iraq allowed the US to steal Saddams physical gold reserves. By the way those gold reserves are coming in *very* handy for the Evil Empire at this very moment. So Iraq was about much more than oil. And the fact that Iraq is mired in anarchy now says much more about the caliber of political leadership in the west in general than about Iraq or even al dawla al islamiyya (Daesh).
