Why do I always carry so much literal baggage -- physical objects? - TopicsExpress

Why do I always carry so much literal baggage -- physical objects? I go to ride the exerbike and I have my honey&vinegar (stomach soother), coffee, 3 sections of the Big O., pen, notepad, and a lamp to set up where it cant be left afterward. Likewise, my desk has to have my camera, my tape measure, four important business cards, a solar calculator, the speakers to my PC, my coffee, a note pad, a pen, glasses, the remote wireless, ear buds, the keyboard, and oh yes, my PC with its lovely Large screen. I wont enumerate what I carry downtown with me, nor what I fill the car with when we go on art residencies. Nor what I _have_ to have to read on a two night R&R at the coast. Jer carries one book. He leaves the pen in the pen place, where he fetches it if he needs it. His desk has his physical calendar on it (he doesnt like computerized ones), his keyboard, his PC, and little else. Sigh. I do so long to be efficiently elegantly spare.
