Why do I get so bitter when I am behind a mom at the grocery store bragging about her new "tat" with her boyfriend, who, by the way, does a "wicked tattoo for sixty dollars in his home," all the while giving the clerk her WIC coupons and bragging to the grocery bagger that they are home all the time if he wants to come by for a "tat." Oops, her phone rang....yep, she had a brightly colored iPhone! Damn, it must be great not to have to work. Now, why should it bother me? Oh yeah, I work to pay her way. I know, I know, I should be grateful that I have a job and I am going to adjust my attitude in a few minutes. I just needed to get her out of my system and vent. Enough!! "But for the Grace of God, go I."
