Why do I like Hatsune Miku so much? I often get asked this quite a bit and I thought I should answer it here. Quite and simple: Miku is a VERY important object? sound? thing? person? thing to me in my life. But, how could a fictional character be so important? She doesnt even exist! Yes, yes she does. Just not physically.(But theyre working on that in Japan! lol) When I first saw her dancing to World Is Mine on youtube one day, I was mesmerized. I quickly became obsessed with who she was, what she was about and so on. I later found out that her main intention is creation and inspiration. Before I ever saw her, I had no idea what I wanted to do in my career. I knew it was something to do with art, but I didnt know what. I was so inspired by her and her songs and the people who made them that I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I wanted to be an illustrator. I wanted to inspire people everywhere around the world. So in short: Miku pretty much started my career. Since every one of her millions of songs are all fan made. I could relate to them better than an actual person. The more and more of Vocaloids that came out, the more I was inspired to create for them and for the public to use too. Ive been an avid Vocaloid fan for 4 years now, I know about 60 different dances and about 300+ songs by heart. No exaggeration. There are a million reasons why Miku and Vocaloid are so important to me but this is the main reason. I owe a lot to her and Im glad I was browsing YouTube that day. Miku turns 7 this month on the 31st and Im glad to celebrate it one more time. Thank you Miku
