Why do YOU eat with tax collectors and sinners? JESUS answered and said to them, those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners, to repentance. ( Luke 5:30-32 ) Just as did JESUS society, contemporary America has its own arbitrary rules about who is or is not desirable. JESUS thus mandates that HIS followers challenge those rules in HIS name and the name of the love HE preached and modeled. Every day , we must choose: the rules or JESUS. No matter what the rules say, for the follower of JESUS, no one is undesirable or beyond caring for.
