Why do schools think its proper to make 5 yr olds hold their pee when they gotta go? if i child has to go, take them straight away. dont make them wait or hold it in. it causes bladder infections and puts the childs health and well being at risk, let alone dealing with the embarassment of peeing themselves in public. when they do eventually pee themselves, the child ends up thinking that somehow its their fault; that they did something wrong. once an infection starts its hard to pick up right away and often causes kids to pee more frequently, causing more accidents. its common sense stuff with this one. dont tell me staffs too busy to take a child to go pee or point them in the general direction of the bathroom.
