Why do we discuss Jurassic World Now, earlier than thought, the - TopicsExpress

Why do we discuss Jurassic World Now, earlier than thought, the new Jurassic World trailer fills the discussion sessions and salons of this elite group ( ;) ) But why do we still discuss fantasy/SF creatures of Blockbuster movies. Well the answer is simple, and the trailer gives it already: these bipedal lizards with bunny hand syndrome are supposed to be real dinosaurs (or lets say, very close to real dinosaurs). To quote the trailer: we have our first genetically modified hybrid, so this new monster is artificial but the rest of the Park is supposed to be real. The film will certainly not reveal that ALL these creatures are artificial. And thats the problem, as the female protagonist explains in the trailer they learned very much from Genetics but not from paleontology, so the film set itself above the bone diggers something you certainly see in the trailer because my lunch is nearly coming up my esophagus all few moments. We live in a world in which films like Jurassic Park are still shaping the picture which most of the public has of dinosaurs, and they not only never changed their design but also never made it clear that these are not more than the creations of non-paleo-guys which use dinosaur book of their childhood as references. And I dont know at which point the scientific advisers had the chance to change something or why they are invited anyway. Of course we are beating a dead horse here but I think it hurts still too much to not speak about it. Speaking about it helps, maybe only self-therapeutic but thats better than nothing.
