Why does Childrens Chief Cardiologist Dr Howard Rosenfeld brave the freezing waters each year at Swim Across America: I swim because I believe in the mission of our hospital and in the medical profession as a whole to do what’s right by our patients and their families. When it comes down to it, we are able to put aside the daily grind, the politics, and the paperwork and put our energies where they belong…. doing what we need to do in order to care for children, one child at a time.
