Today I filed my second appeal to Central Information Commission, New Delhi in a matter related to my RTI application with the Cultural Education Center (formerly General Education Center) Aligarh Muslim University. I had filed my application seeking details of the financial transactions from the CEC on 12/04/2014 and the CPIO did provide only misleading, concocted and false information. On this I filed my first appeal with the appellate authority of the CEC on 12/06/2014 and to my surprise the reply sent to me by first appellate authority is highly evasive and did not provide the information sought By not providing the required information and doing evasive practice gives an impression that large scale financial embezzlement is going on at the Cultural Education Centre, Aligarh Muslim University. Either the appellate authority does not wants to give the information or he does not know English. If he does not know English then he should be asked to do bridge course on English! It is to be mentioned that the Appellate Authority in this case is a Professor of this university!!!!
