Why does everyone want to go on a million dates and not just be friends first? You get to know the person either way, but dating complicates things and pressures the girl into thinking youre something youre not or pressures her to go steady with you even if she learns that she doesnt like you like that. People are afraid of being in the friend zone but it would have happened if they dated anyways because you cant force someone to like you. Honestly, dating complicates everything and since girls tend to take relationships way more seriously than guys do, it just ends up being a waste of the girls time 99% of the time. Dating means someones going to get hurt--there will be drama even if its unofficial dating or two people who arent going steady. If you date someone before you even get to know them, then the chances of someone or both getting hurt is really high, because you cant just assume that person is going to be perfect for you. Usually, when two people who are strangers just date, someone gets feelings and the other doesnt and it ends up being torturous for both of them. I just think that people are too quick to jump into relationships/dating in this day and age. Seriously, dating right after meeting someone once or twice causes drama 99% of the time. imgur/z1rZV0V
