Thanks everyone for the amazing comments, prayers, calls, texts, messages, visits. The lil things make the heart grow stronger. The last few days seem as if they are not real. I went from feeling like a million bucks Monday, to an ambulance ride Tuesday (and I almost didnt call in as I started to feel a but better), to having tiny precious Reiker Reiley joining the world 9 weeks early. He came out screaming and moving, so we pray and pray he keeps on fighting his way home. The hour before surgery I was getting all sorts of knees, punches, kicks. I rubbed my belly and said hey whoever you are your world is about to be rocked, but you need to come in and rock it so we can get home and I got one last huge movement and then my belly remained calm. Reiker was doing so well and then Thursday afternoon he started struggling. His one lung would collapse every time while the other ended up forming an air pocket. He has been put on a vent to give his lungs time to grow and develop like the time they should have had in me. He also has a tube running into his lung that had the air pocket. Also his tubing they put in to be able to draw blood ended up plugging off, so a new one was ram yesterday morning. He has had a frw chest xrays along with a heart and brain scan and those cane back with no issues at this time. Since early afternoon yesterday Reiker has been resting comfortably and they have only had to make a few minor tweaks with vent to get the ratio just right. I just called down and another chest X-ray was ordered for 8am and a blood gas check. I have been quickly looking at Facebook, but not responding to too much so if there is anyone I miss I apologize. Thanks Kandis Koenig Albertson for getting on here and keep all in the loop when Moms Karen Brockel Internet coverage stunk, there was no way Dustin Logan not I could and we desperately needed prayers for this. Thanks Ronda Logan for taking care of Arriauna, who has been a champ through all of this. Thanks Brandye Ranum, Brenda Fradenburgh, Jerry and Judy Binstock, Aunt Betty, Lud and Fran Dukart, Tim and Mike Sedlacek (Stacie Stacie Sedlacek) for visiting. Thank you also to Scott and Brenda Fradenburgh for allowing us to stay with you while Reiker grows to come home. Thank you Dad and Mom for bringing up my car today and Mom for staying all next week to be my driver. I am sure I have missed someone or something to say. Thanks again all for the continued prayers and support we really appreciate it and sadly need it.
