Website news for our members, fans, sponsors and supporters: Greetings to all our USLA fans and members: I just wanted to send you a note to inform you that later today, we will undergo a website migration to the USOC’s web platform. As the afternoon and evening unfold, we will officially become part of teamusa.org as the content populates. USLA is joining NGBs such as USBSF, US Biathlon, US Curling, US Speedskating and other smaller NGBs who have already joined the USOC in this endeavor. This change will provide us with additional funding from the USOC as well as help us further our brand awareness on TeamUSA. We could not do this with a website coming from outside the USOC family. You will see the same content on Team USA as you saw with our West World Media website. Photos, stories, audio and results will be there as you have become accustomed to seeing. Of course, with these types of changes, it stands to reason that there could be some minor glitches initially as we partner with the USOC in the migration. But that will smooth itself out. Our one area of most concern involves you and our daily coverage of training and domestic racing. We will endeavor to maintain that service to you, but it will not be present at the beginning of this change. We will work with the USOC IT department to ensure these functions returning as quickly as possible. Finally, we must thank Brett West and West World Media. For more than 8 years we have been served by WWM, and it was always done in a timely and professional manner. Brett and his team were always great to work with whenever discussing the website. They gave us a very user-friendly management system. It is my intention to keep Brett in an advisory capacity so as to keep us updated on the ever-changing global applications. With that, please keep your eyes peeled for this change. You can continue to log on to usaluge.org. You’ll automatically be pointed to the new platform starting in a few hours. We greatly appreciate all your support as we continue to build a world class association. Jim Leahy CEO/Executive Director US Luge Association
