Why does my kitten constantly want to suckle on my hand? My kittens name is Tom Cat and he is a rescue that is about 3 months old. Weve had him since just after he was weened. Im not complaining about the affection. Its cute and all, but he never wants to stop and his teeth can be overwhelming at times. When I try to pet him instead, he bites me until I let him suckle again. I basically have to sit on my hands or put my hands in my pocket if I want him on my lap. Im suspicious that he was taken away from his mother too early. I guess I dont necessarily want him to stop. However, I would like to know whats going on and why he does this all the time.
