Why don’t People Connect with their Angels? The No. 1 reason why people don’t connect is FEAR. This negative emotion creates a barrier between us and our angels. We must get over this in order to clearly communicate with our angels A lot of people believe that connecting with their angels is anti-religious. This is an interesting problem for there were many people in the religious texts who communed with angels and they were considered holy. But if you believe it to be blasphemous do not try and connect for this will build up more fear and you won’t be able to connect anyway. The way one must look at it, is that angels were a gift given to us by God for us to make use of, let us access them. A lot of people believe that what they are seeing when they are connecting is just their imagination and nothing else. More then 95% of the time these are angelic thoughts, but the way to tell the difference between your angels’ true messages and your ego is this: Your angels’ messages will always be positive and uplifting even if they are asking you to do something you might find difficult or too hard. Ego-based thoughts however are negative and based solely in reality. The angels’ messages will be strong and repetitive. You ARE able to access the angels, so use them! People are also afraid that they might not see anything when they connect. This again is a fear-based emotion and will end up blocking the angels anyway. We mustn’t try so hard to connect, just be calm and relaxed – allow whatever happens to happen. Allow the angels to do the work, just be calm and centred and you will be amazed at the results! People are also scared they might connect with a dark energy or spirit. Yes, there are dark forces out there, but we must not fear them for this will attract them to you. It is important to ask our Guardian Angels and Archangel Michael to protect us from any dark or negative energy before we start a connecting session. This is all you need to do, and you will be protected. The difference between an angel of light and a dark angel is that the light will always speak positive, uplifting words and use phrases like “us” or “you” whilst the dark will talk negatively and speak in the ego of “I”. A lot of people believe we should learn our life lessons on our own. It is good to learn on our own, but we learn our lessons normally in a slow, pain-staking process where we will have to go through painful situations in order to understand our messages and purpose. When we work with the angels we can learn the same lessons, in a faster time and in a calm, loving and peaceful way. Our angels are like our coaches – they can give us all the information, but ultimately it is up to us at the end of the day whether we will come out victorious or not.
