Why is the human race submerged in greed? Why must we strive to - TopicsExpress

Why is the human race submerged in greed? Why must we strive to have more than our fellow man? To achieve fame? To lie, steal, cheat, bribe, beat, murder, or any other form of screwing over? Our race is a broken mess. Why do we desire power? No honestly, why? Everything is relative. If our race of humanity as a whole could stop this business for even 100 years humanity would evolve in such a way that dreams could become realities. What could science and sheer manpower achieve on a global working toward a single goal? History is full of buffoons that have plundered others right to history. Full of people that just got a creeping itch to be a total dickhead. Take for example Baghdad. Did you know that at one point in history the middle east was one of the absolute best places for science? All the most intelligent people in the world (this excluding China) went there for study. The Library of Baghdad was so incredibly profound that it could have contained thousands of years of knowledge. Why is Baghdad the way it is today? The ruler of Baghdad at the time was a twat. Genghis Kahn wanted to be friends with the country. The ruler decided that piss on Genghis Kahn and killed his emissaries. Remember the name Gengis Kahn? The guy who led the Mongols to conquer most of the world at the time? Yeah him. After a few attempts of diplomacy Mr Kahn decided "screw those guys" and killed everyone in Baghdad. Men, women, children, dogs, livestock, everything. Torched the whole city. "They threw the books from the library into the river till it ran black". We cannot even fathom what was lost. 500 years of collective knowledge was destroyed. And this isnt the first time such a magnificent library was demolished. The great library at Constantinople was also a hugely advanced library for its time in history; burned to the ground. Does the name Thomas Edison mean anything to you? It should according to "history books" That man was a fraud. He was the definition of fraud. He did things so horrific that history seems to hide. He owned around 1100 patents and the modern world gives him credit for inventing the light bulb. Edison never discovered it. Hell he wasnt even the third guy to figure it out, he was further down the line. Why is he accredited for it? Thieving manipulating ways is how. You see, history doesnt care about who invented the object but rather who got to patent it first. Edison had many people working for him that would steal ideas from people, that would burn down laboratories of his competitors, and just try to invent things in general which Edison would take credit for. One man in paticular was Nikola Tesla. This man revolutionized our world so drastically that if he had never existed our world would be in a place unrecognizable to modern day man. He invented AC power (hint almost all of the world uses AC power) made huge advances in radar, robotics, WIRELESS ENERGY TRANSFER, and other crazy things. Oh yeah, this was 1890. Wut? Edison stole his ideas and patented them, torched all of his work, outright attacked him, and Tesla died in a shithole beyond penniless. Have you even heard of Nikola before? Seriously look that guy up he is incredible. Just imagine if the human race had never set itself back, that instead they worked together to create an even better more advanced world. We would be SO advanced that we would have left earth hundreds of years ago. How is it that ancient societies actually had no currency? People are capable of doing things so monumental in such a grandeur way. What if there were no more nations, no more borders, no more currency. What if humanity could humble itself and work toward a commonality that helped the world? What if?
