Why isnt this receiving national attention? It is extremely similar to the case in Ferguson, Missouri where the man shot was unarmed. Both men killed were current criminals (Brown just robbed a store and Taylor had a felony warrant). The difference I see is the media has blown up in #Ferguson because of the riots and looting (which there were none in Salt Lake City). Another difference. The victim in Salt Lake City was white and the cop was non-white (other articles determined he was African-American). If the peaceful protests in Ferguson are aimed at curbing excessive use of force by the police, why isnt Dillon Taylor getting national attention as it appears (all facts are not in) that he was attempting to comply with police when he was shot, thus in my opinion excessive force of the police. Why isnt it receiving national attention? We all know the answer but are too intimidated by PC to say it. For the record, unless circumstances prove that certain police officers act with excessive force (which in both cases is yet to be proven), I will forever be on the side of our men and women who PROTECT and serve! sltrib/sltrib/news/58304981-78/police-taylor-lake-salt.html.csp
