Why should my love go away.It’s not his fight I’d like to say.That’s not exactly true,He took an oath and pledged to defend all of us in this great land.My love has to go to a far away place.He takes my heart along with him,and I have his with me.I know he loves me this I DO KNOW, how?Because he tells me everyday how he loves me so.We may not be in the same place and time,But our love will grow as each day comes and goes.He is my only love and I hope he knows how much I truly love him so.He carries my love with him over the seas until he returns to love only me.He is my one and only love and forever it will take to tell him so.Why could I not find the words when he was home?Because my heart was preparing for its journey far away.So in my chest there is a big hole until he returns to make it whole.So know this my soldier love I’m right here waiting where I belong.
