Why students fail in examination There are many reasons that students fail in exams. In my opinion, the first problem is that some time parents impose their will on students. For instance some parents want their child should become a doctor or engineer and they force him or her to choose medical or engineering field but student has different choice like arts. In such circumstances he cannot do well. I think students should have liberty regarding their choices. If student select his own choice he can perform well in studies. There are some other reasons like lack of resources, information and environment of education. In third world or developing countries number of student faces these problems. Some time it happens that students have not more choices of studies and they are restricted in limited fields. In some developing countries education system has week points like only textbook studies, no practical work, and strict examination system. Potential outcome of students also remains low due to restrictions in educational institutions. Some students have big study burden in poor education system and they become psychological patient and cannot perform well in exams, while they are intelligent. Financial and economic problem also cause of failure because some students don’t have enough economic resources that they can fulfil their dues and they have to work for their expenditures and to support family. In this way they cannot concentrate on their studies.
