Why would you go direct with an acoustic guitar when its guaranteed to sound terrible? Its an acoustic instrument, put a mic on it! I cant get through ten seconds of any recording thats been done this way. I just gave a listen to a good friends ep, which was more in line with their budget(FREE) and its absolutely dreadful(but it was free!)
