Why you, yes you, are needed at the July 9th Meeting: We have two ways of stopping PaciifiClean: (1) either we stop them from getting a lease at RyeGrass or we (2) stop them at the Conditional Use Permit process. We only have those two options. The County Commissioners are the final say at both junctions. We need the Commissioners to know there are a lot of us against PacifiClean’s move to Kittitas County – we need to fill that lease hearing room to overflowing so that they see many faces, new faces, and determined faces who stand united against PacifiClean. If only the “same old” 10 people show up to this lease meeting, we will undoubtedly lose. This is a critical moment in our fight. We need your attendance at this meeting. You don’t have to speak unless you want to. Just your presence encourages us who will and will send a clear message to the Board of Commissioners that many, many people do not want this facility built in our county. We’re in it to win it.
