Wigan Warriors are pleased to be able to support local Amateur Club Ashton Bears at the upcoming Super League fixture against Hull FC. The popular community rugby clubs clubhouse was gutted after a fire ripped through its premises in early February this year. Since then the players, coaches and volunteers have been working hard to raise funds to begin the rebuilding process. The hard work recently saw the Bears pass the £20,000 mark but the Club still need to raise up to a minimum of £60,000 to start the rebuild. In a bid to help the fundraising Super League champions Wigan Warriors are giving Ashton the chance to raise funds via a bucket collection at the DW Stadium ahead of the games against Hull FC on Friday and signed Warriors items to auction off. While juniors from the Club will get to take part in all of the matchday experiences including the under 10s side who will compete in the half time game. Read more at wwrl.co/ctMN1G
