Wild winds wreaked havoc on the field today during the Stage 6, 67km Road Race. Within 15km, the bunch had broken down into 5 small groups, with Matt Clark unlucky to puncture...day over. As the race continued, the wind caused further damage, refusing to ease. Conor Murtagh continued to impress with another 13th place finish, coming in with the lead group. Jason Spencer and Shannon Johnson finished 1:59min down in very trying conditions, Nick Katsonis riding a very strong race again to finish 3:21min behind with Matt Clark riding in with a big group soon after. Conor and Jason now sit 18th and 26th respectively on GC. As we enter the weekend, the weather continues to cause problems.
