He is a Sweet and Gentle 14 year old Soul. At Castaic, CA Shelter 661-257-3191 > Wiley – A 4680760, is a sweet and loving 14 yr old neutered male Black and Tan German Shepherd. He came into the Castaic Shelter on 3/1 as a stray. Wiley might have had a family at one time but looks like he was fending for himself for a while. He was filthy and his fur is not in the best condition. We gave him a bath and he loved it, he looked and felt so much better. > Wiley is arthritic and has some kind of problem with his back left leg. It doesn’t seem to keep him walking, although he does walk slowly. Wiley does have a tumor under his chin. We don’t know if it is cancer or not because the County Shelter does not have funds to get a biopsy done. I am sure he has some dental problems. Wiley gets along with other dogs both big and small and I am sure he would do fine with cats. It would be best for him to be with calmer senior dogs. I believe he is housebroken. He would love to be loved by older kids. > Even with all of his medical issues Wiley is a Happy boy that only wants to be loved.
