Good people do not deserve to be treated badly by others, but sometimes they are. Being good to others doesnt guarantee that others will be good to you. People who arent good people will treat others badly, even the ones who love them most, the ones whom they claim to love the most. Please remember that love is not an excuse to treat others badly and its not a reason to allow someone to treat you badly. Love shouldnt cause you to feel badly about yourself or feel badly about others. When you genuinely love someone and are genuinely loved in return, you dont take that love or person for granted and then mistreat them, inflict pain upon them and expect them to take it because of love. And loving someone doesnt mean that you must allow someone (anyone!) to mistreat you and then be willing to take more mistreatment. Taking more mistreatment doesnt prove that you love someone more, it proves that you love yourself less. For a change, how about loving yourself more and knowing that you do deserve more and better than that love-less behavior (even from yourself, too)? True, genuine love doesnt hurt. You shouldnt suffer for love, because real love would never make you suffer. Love doesnt hurt people. People hurt people.
