Will someone please educate the University of Minnesota President as to the nature and degree of his hypocrisy for vowing to make sure the “Redskins” team name is never uttered or displayed when the Vikings host the Redskins at the Gophers’ stadium. Apparently, the moniker is so utterly racist and offensive – far moreso to white liberals oddly – President Eric Kaler completely ignored the fact Vikings ruthlessly murdered, raped, and pillaged on three continents. And yet, unlike the fierce and courageous mentality Minnesota decidedly meant to employ, Washington obviously had no intentions whatsoever of conveying bravery and strength to honor Native Americans. After all, it’s only their beloved football in which their fans passionately sing “Hail to the Redskins”, not “Hate those damn Redskins”, after every touchdown. Although Washington has confided in, hosted and earned the approval of numerous Indian tribes for nearly 50 years, liberal politicians – spearheaded by Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid – have waged a scorched earth campaign to assert their agenda over that of common sense, historical precedence, and the overwhelming support of NFL fans. If this new Gestapo for political correctness is hell bent on exacting change for their own petty gratification, please address the record 7 trillion dollar deficit since 2008, the over 50 million on welfare, or the incessant wave of illegals our government is unlawfully transporting across our borders; during an Ebola crisis no less. Any so-called movement dependent upon phoning your constituents to orchestrate public outcry from a staged event, and not based on the nature ire of the people in question, is self-serving, ignorant and inherently destructive. And because I love football but can’t stand political correctness, lets hear it for common sense: “Go Redskins”!
