Wilson police arrested three suspects after they allegedly robbed PNC Bank at Heritage Crossing Shopping Center at closing time Thursday. No one was injured during the robbery, said Sgt. Steve Stroud. Police said they were dispatched to the bank, located at 3401-8 Raleigh Road Parkway in regards to a robbery in progress. Officers were able to quickly find the suspects, who appeared to be arrested about a block away from the incident on Raleigh Road Parkway near Golden Corral. Stroud said the investigation is in the early stages and more information will be released as the investigation moves forward. Traffic slowed down on Raleigh Road Parkway as police swarmed the area. Yellow crime scene tape lined the perimeter of PNC Bank. Several officers and investigators worked the scene.
