WinFromWithin (Haha, promo for Gatorade) About 27 years ago, I asked God: If Im going to run for international president (of this youth association), Youve got to be behind me! Di ko kakayahin ang buong mundo! Then at a bible study later, my brother in law Vic, asks all in the room, lets look at our first verse for study tonight, 1 John 5:5 This is same verse I read yesterday morning and now, I as continue to glean from Johns book: Who can defeat the whole world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. I knew He spoke to me directly that night, and there and then I knew I he wanted me to submit my application for AIESEC world president. Four months after, He helped me overcome and gave me success. This morning, amidst new challenges, and yes, on some fronts, overwhelming odds, He reminds me that He hasnt changed. The world may be a bit more complicated, and my challenges may have become more complex, but He remains the Master of all circumstances and King over all! And since I onced asked Him to enter my heart and my life as Savior and Lord, He remains in me, and I in Him...regardless of my messes and misses in this life. Today He will give me an overcomers life. For whoever has the Son has life! (1 John 5: 13). And And that life overcomes the world. (John 16) Now thats a sure win, from Within!
