Windfest on Tour Luce Bay Kitesurfing Provisional Water Activity Timetable: This is the outline plan for the day based on current forecast and tide states. Saturday Early Morning: High tide is just after 9 and this means we will have the epic flat water lagoon at the old ATC tower which is about 500m up the beach from the caravan park – we are going to have a free-ride session here 8:30am to 10am. Saturday Mid Morning: Look for the Shinn & Airush flags on beach from about 11am where there will be some gear available to to demo from them and with a jumping clinic with Windfest crew member John (in picture) giving expert tips on how to go big. Saturday Early Afternoon: Look for the flags again fir demo gear and from 1pm until 2:30pm John will be running an intermediate trick clinic so if you want to nail your first backrolls or even try for a railey then head on down. Saturday Late Afternoon: Freeride session (John wants on the water but just look ou for him if you want tips) Sunday Morning: High tide is at 10ish so either side of this will see the huge Glen Luce lagoon fill for some epic flat water. We are planning a 9am start with some cars taking people up to the golf course where we can park, but depending on the wind direction we might be able to organise a downwinder to the location. The plan is to use the flat shallow water to practice what you learnt the day before as John will be on hand to help. Sunday Afternoon: Depending on the wind direction and conditions we will look at a trip to one of the bays on the west of the Rhins – these beaches are small with waves and a rocky shoreline beyond so this will be for confident intermediate to advance riders only.
