Winds are traveling in opposite directions along a weak boundary parked across central Illinois this afternoon. Because of this a few funnel clouds have been reported. They generally last for 5 to 10 minutes and form when the developing showers pull the air up and cause rotation under the cloud. Scattered showers/storms will still be likely the rest of the day so grab the umbrella if youre heading out. The rest of the weekend is looking nice with highs in the low-to-mid 80s and lots of sun!
