Winds cause low visibility MANAMA: Bahrain has been affected by moderate to high southerly to south-westerly wind, resulting in low visibility in some areas due to rising dust. Visibility is expected to gradually improve today and normal temperature is forecast for the next two days, Ministry of Transportations acting director of meteorology Adel Daham stated yesterday. There was low visibility of up to 1,200m at Bahrain International Airport. The maximum temperature was 35C. Wind direction shifted to northwesterly in the evening with an increase of wind speed. Moderate north-westerly wind will prevail during the day today, he said. Bahrain is usually affected by unsettled weather conditions during spring due to the fast movement of troughs in the lower and medium levels of the atmosphere. The average maximum temperature for March is 24.7C and the average minimum is 17.8C, with average precipitation of 14.0 mm. Click Here!
