Winds have shifted to the east/onshore flow this evening and this - TopicsExpress

Winds have shifted to the east/onshore flow this evening and this has made for a little bit of a sea breeze front trying to push westward into the Commonwealth. This has sparked some very isolated shower and t-storm activity across the Piedmont, and this activity will track westward over the next several hours. Not completely out of the question we see a shower or storm tonight, mainly before 3am, but no real severe concerns. Heavy downpours would be the biggest thing with any shower/storm. Many folks should stay dry. Patchy fog will develop after midnight, especially in any spots that see rain--Meteorologist Clayton Stiver
