Winston is in Honduras this week teaching and preaching among the churches HoF has been helping for 3 decades. Yesterday he had back to back meetings with about 100 in each meeting. One of the pastors shared this recent story about how the gang violence in Honduras is affecting the church. Pastor Tito got a call at 2 in the morning from a gang that had picked up a person who says he belongs to the church. They wanted him to come and identify the person. Their intention was to take him out to where they kill people. Tito didnt know if it was a trap, and the community is dangerous. But he went and identified the boy, and they released him to the pastor. The gangs seem to respect our churches. This gives a broader understanding of salvation!
