He gets along with other dogs, but is much more interested in his humans and would like to be your one and only. Winston loves, loves, loves to chase the ball and play tug-of-war. It has become part of his daily routine and he looks forward to it. Winston is very affectionate, but does need time to build trust and settle into a home and routine. He also loves going on trips and is great in the car. Winston knows sit and speak and does best with structure and with someone who will help keep him stimulated and active. He has the Schnauzer personality and needs someone who is familiar with the breed and can be patient, but firm. He will do anything for a treat and needs a loving home with positive reinforcements. He would be perfect for an active couple that will take him places, or a single person that would enjoy an active companion. I would prefer a more local family, but he can be transported.
