Winter School on Measure Theory and Functional Analysis, Department of Mathematics, Andhra University The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai is organizing a two weeks workshop on measure and functional analysis from November 25 (arrival Sunday November 24) to December 6 (departure Saturday December 7) at the Department of Mathematics, Andhra University covering the following topics: Linear Algebra and Basics, Probability Theory, Measure Theory, Hilbert Space Theory and Introductory Functional Analysis. Target audience: Students those who have completed B.Sc can apply. A recommendation letter is must for an applicant without M.Sc degree. For applicants with M.Sc degree it is preferable to have a letter of recommendation. Duration: 2 weeks (November 25 - December 6, 2013) Stipend: Selected participants will be given AC 3T train fare. They will also take care of local hospitality.
