Winter is truely here in Michigan. Cold temps, and windchills that make you think twice before heading out, and the memories of an awesome summer and fall still lume in my head. But today was a perfect day to get out my Yaktraxs and walking poles and hit the slopes! Well, there really isnt any slopes but there was plenty of untouched fresh fallen snow that I could sink my boots into.The trail untouched, and the sounds of the birds who never leave was music to my ears. The effort to take each step reminds me of just how thankful I am for answered pray 14 years ago. GOD IS FAITHFUL!! Ive only visited the white fluffy stuff just a few times in the past years, but this year will be different. Im not going to allow the worry of the what ifs to control what I choose to do and how to do it. Life is meant to be lived, and enjoyed. For every season their is purpose.
