~~Winter’s Cold Returning This Weekend ~~ Mild weather will continue for the next couple days with highs Friday and Saturday from the low 30s across the north to the high 30s Downeast. Only a few light snow and rain showers will be around the next couple days. Meanwhile, colder air building in the Arctic will begin to approach late in the weekend. Sunday will be a bit cooler with highs from the 20s north to near 30 Downeast. A strong cold front will approach Sunday night, possibly bringing a light snowfall over the north Sunday evening. Highs Monday will then be closer to a normal range of near 20 north and 28 Downeast. Tuesday will be even colder with highs from 10 north to 20 Downeast and by Wednesday highs may only range from 5 north to 15 Downeast. At this time no major storms are on the horizon.
