Wisdom For Life Wisdom is an attribute that usually takes many years to develop. It is a treasure that cannot be bought for money. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:7 (NLT). With wisdom, you can have a full life that is righteous before God. Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life. Proverbs 16:31 (NLT). None of us are guaranteed long life; however, it is usually gained by living according to Gods Word. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. Proverbs 9:12 (NLT). The book of Proverbs has much to say about wisdom because it was written by King Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived. Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgment. Proverbs 23:23 (NLT). Unfortunately, we tend to learn many things the hard way by the mistakes and wrong decisions that we make in life, instead of seeking the Word of god on our matters. My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Proverbs 3:1-2 (NLT). There is answers for everything that we experience in life, if we would only seek God and His Word concerning our matters. The Lord says, I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation. Psalms 91:14-16 (NLT). There are also scriptures for those who oppose God and His Word: Punishment is made for mockers, and the backs of fools are made to be beaten. Proverbs 19:29 (NLT). For the Lord loves justice, and He will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. Psalms 37:28 (NLT). The Lord says, I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. Psalms 91:14 (NLT). He grants the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cries for help and rescues them. The Lord protects all those who love Him, but He destroys the wicked. Psalms 145:19-20 (NLT).
