Wisdom Gate Topic: Jesus; the blind and the multitude! Jesus was on His way to Jericho and a multitude followed Him. Blind bartimaeus asked what was going on and he was told that Jesus was passing by. He tried to call the attention of Jesus but those around him asked him to keep quiet but he cried the more until Jesus stopped to attend to his case. Very many natural men will not want others to achieve so much as they have and so, in the bid to achieve their aim; they sow the seed of discouragement into the lives of rising stars. If blind bartimaeus had succumbed to their intimidation and threats; he wouldnt have been blessed. When you set out to do something extra-ordinary; avoid the opinion of the multitude because the only message the multitude preaches is discouragement and impossibility. I want you to know that whether you succeed or fail is a choice you have made and no one other than yourself will be held responsible. You cannot point accusing fingers at anyone that they are responsible for your failure.
