Wise advice from the not so wise: Negativity is gangrene to the soul. It starts off small, like a tiny little sore that grows as its fed by the mind. I once was in a place where I allowed it to consume me; sadly I allowed it to devour my spirit, my essence...my joy. It can happen to anyone at anytime if entertained. For me it began with the demise of my health, specifically hypothyroidism. The realization of knowing Id never be the same. Seeing its dramatic effects on my physique caused me to lose mental strength. We are each different but yet the same, struggling to overcome demons daily,whos goal it is to seek and destroy. Be strong my friends. If you feel the gangrene, the negativity, suppressing everything you once loved about yourself, release it.....give it to our precious Lord.Do not do as I did; do not allow it to destroy the love and joy you had with those whom you love so deeply....its devastation can cost you everything.
