*Wish* The nine year old kid was standing in the middle of market, watching his parents fight and call each other names. He looked at his elder sister, who was just three years older than him. Large tears were rolling down her eyes. He did not know what to say to her. He looked at her with confusion; he knew he could not do anything for her. Or for himself. Before he knew it, his mother came and grabbed his sisters hand and took her away. He watched as she took away her only friend. Before she disappeared from sight, his father dragged him into the opposite direction. That night, the kid lay on the bed, thinking. Thinking about his parents. For others, he was just a kid, but he knew much more than he should have known. As he closed his eyes to sleep, a hopeful smile lit up his face.
