Wishing everyone a super-duper Happy New Years! If youre like most people, every year you make New Year’s resolutions. For 2015, my resolution is to focus on Gods sovereignty, and what Hes doing in my life. As a premed student, I never imagined having a music career, and I was content to just play for my patients. But when a once-in-a-lifetime composer like Andrea Morricone believes in your musicality and sensitivity, you begin to see the artist that you can become. As I look back on my musical journey, I realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, Gods sovereignty was actually re-directing me towards something better. God is not random or vague; He is precise and exact, laying out our entire life plan down to the smallest detail. True faith is trusting that the invisible hand of God is working behind the scenes. Proverbs 20:24, The Lord decides what a person will do; so why try to understand everything along the way?
