With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I thought itd be fitting to reflect on a few of the reasons that I am most thankful for yoga: 1) Yoga makes me a better husband and father. It gives me the energy to keep up with the kiddo and the peace of mind I need to be a good communicator and keep a positive attitude. 2) Yoga is an awesome family activity. Its a great way to share some quality time, having a blast and getting exercise at the same time! 3) Yoga gave me a new lease on life. Not only do I feel better now than I have in years, I know that if I keep practicing yoga I will stay fit and focused long enough to play with the grand kids someday! Yoga is a journey that leads us toward our personal best. This is a great time of year to stop and reflect on the big picture purpose for our practice. Why do you do yoga? Is it to be stronger? Think clearer? Be more productive? So you can function at your personal best? As we dine with friends and family throughout the week, I encourage you to ruminate on these questions. When we take a moment to identify why we want to do yoga, we can tap into an inexhaustible source of motivation and develop a true passion for our practice! I hope you all have an excellent holiday! Best, Luke
