With Thanksgiving over and Christmas approaching Poetry by Ronald Doe will be posting my Jesus/religious poems. With all due respect to non-Christian followers of my page, Jesus is my Lord, Savior and Redeemer. It is only through His Grace that I am alive to share my God given talent. Not being a man of wealth it is one of the ways I can freely share the love and mercy of my Lord Jesus. I know it is impossible for we working stiffs to give every homeless person or Salvation Army box a buck or donate to every worthy cause we see on TV or get in the mail. I know for me giving freely of my time is an excellent way to do Gods work and feel peace inside my soul. Helping serve food to the homeless, helping give out turkeys to over 700 low income families and delivering meals to the elderly on Thanksgiving gave me an inner peace I havent felt in a long time. I look forward to playing Santa Claus for the children again this year down Eden Street. Giving back is what Christmas is all about so I urge all of you to get in the spirit of the season and do unto others as you would have done to you. God bless you all and thanks for continuing to support me in my personal life and also for continuing to read, comment and share my poems.
