With a very heavy heart, we are so sad to inform you that we have lost a member of our Ready Set Sew family today. A very dear friend and customer, Carole Anchondo, made her transition this morning. Since the moment we met Carole, she has done nothing but brighten our store and our days. Every time we saw Carole she had the most positive attitude, uplifting personality and was never without a smile on her face. Carole quickly became an integral part of our sewing/quilting family and never a week went by that she didnt come to visit or join a class or event with us - always encouraging others, lending a helping hand when she could, and sharing her positive energy with everyone. My thoughts immediately go back to Carole when she was the grand prize winner of the of Silhouette Cameo Cutter. Out of 60 people in attendance, the second we called her number, Carole squealed, jumped up, and was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning... running around the entire classroom hugging everyone she could find, remarking that she couldnt believe she had won! But that was Carole, gracious, appreciative, and loving. Ms. Carole Anchondo was a dear member of our sewing community, and she will be greatly missed. We will keep her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers during this time of grief. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Carole Anchondo in it. If there is sewing in Heaven, she will surely be there!
