With a very sad heart Im saying goodbye to Syosset Hospital! I have worked there for more then 16 years and never thought Id leave. Unfortunately things change everywhere and you either adjust or move on! I have chosen to move on! But its not without regrets and melancholy! But first I need to say a big thank you to Denise Newins Sirakowski for interviewing me and hiring me those many years ago. It was the best job any health care worker could have! And thanks to my manager Michelle Reiss Travis for listening g to me whine about things I cant change. But the biggest thanks to my co-workers who have made Syosset my home and my safe place! All of my friends at Syosset know how I feel for them but to June June Bleich Warman, Charris Beavers, Lynne Wermelinger-Schiralli, you guys are the greatest and made me smile daily! Of course we are already planning our next vacation so I know our friendships will continue forever! And of course my biggest thank you goes to Leslie Winterfeldt Bullis who not only picked me up daily for work (and seat heater on in winter), but laughed with me (you wouldnt believe half our confused conversations during these car rides), cried with me and taught me how just because you dont have the same blood doesnt mean you not sisters! Ive been so blessed and can never really express my love and gratitude to you all xoxoxo
