With all du respect to the pope and his opinions... Lets be careful in our words: indeed, 1- The audience doesnt have the same level of education and thinking. 2- In addition, each one of our words may be recovered and used for another purpose: his speech should be listened to understand what he said and what he meant. 3- Evolution... To what? Yes, one could think that creation and evolution are not incompatible, because God is God. But: if we adopt the theory of evolution, what are the consequences? The consequences are that we are moving towards something. 4- This is the main purpose of the defenders of that theory (those who really know what all this is about): we are moving towards something. What? I dont know, but this opens the door to things like: cloning human beings, transforming a man into a woman, maybe later: choosing the colour of a babys eyes, TRAMPLING MORAL VALUES and nature, etc... EVOLUTION IS ONLY A THEORY: theres no proof about it.
