Doing the very basic math (14000/(8 * 60)) it would take 29.2 continuous hours for all 8 humans to care for each animal. That would mean that EVERY survivor would need to work MORE than 24 hours a day with no rest for food or sleep and even then could not care for each animal every day. Just something to think about.
