With all the anti-police protests going on I think I have the solution. Do away with police and keep our laws defining crimes. Then any citizen who sees a crime committed is allowed to arrest the criminal. If the criminal resists then he gets to go free. The test of a true professional criminal will be his willingness to go to jail, be convicted and serve his time. Other wise we count them as legal objectors and they dont have to cowtow to any social restrictions imposed by society. This would be fair and not restricted to any race, age, creed, or other profile. It would eliminate the allegations of police cruelty, excess force, and racism in enforcing laws that do not specify their application to a specific race/color/size of people. We as citizens would not have to hear on the news about these awful people who are police.
